For your convenience, The Queen's Medical Center – West O‘ahu has an automated telephone system for checking your account balance, verifying your insurance, requesting a copy of your itemized statement and checking the date of the last payment made by you or your insurance in the last six months.

To access your account, call the patient billing line at 808.691.5300 any day of the week.

To speak with a Patient Account Representative, call 691-3152.

Account representatives are available Monday thru Friday (except Holidays) from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Please have your 9 digit QMC – West O‘ahu account number ready to enter when prompted. You may also email us with any billing questions you may have.

CareResource Hawai’i can help individuals and families of all ages who are facing a variety of health challenges such as short or long term illnesses, injury, physical disabilities. A wide range of services are offered, including skilled nursing, personal care, social services and rehabilitative therapies.

Check Out Policy
Check-out time is before 11:00am on the day of your discharge. Transportation should be arranged in advance with your family, a taxi or Handivan. If you need help, contact a member of your health care team.

All Medicare (including but not limited to HMSA Akamai Advantage, HPH – Classic and Kaiser Senior Plan members) are required to sign the Notification of Medicare Appeal Rights on the day of discharge. If you do not receive this from a hospital staff member, please call 808.691.4210. Be aware that you may need to stop at Patient Financial Services before leaving The Queen’s Medical Center - West O'ahu.

Patient Financial Services
If you have questions regarding your insurance and/or payment arrangements, please call Patient Financial Services at 691-3123 between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Saturday. The QMC – West O‘ahu accepts deposits and payments by bank credit card, checks, money orders, traveler's checks or cash. You are strongly urged to handle the financial aspects of your stay before or during your discharge. Payments need to be in U.S. dollars. Any balance remains your responsibility. We will request payment upon discharge.

All accounts must be paid within 90 days unless other payment arrangements have been made with Patient Financial Services before discharge. We will assess a late payment charge of 1% per month, calculated at simple interest, on accounts not paid in full within 90 days (or longer if required by law).
